According to a recent post via Cumulative Impacts, you may well be the subject of an investigation if you are an animal, environmental, or anti-war activist. The pressure is on for you to sit back and do nothing, or else live in fear that your home may be ransacked!

It's not like everyone uses ELF / ALF tactics ... a definite case of gross generalization and government paranoia... I happen to know of one incident which involved a woman who uses strictly peaceful means of protest - her home was taken apart and her name, ruined.
